"THE GOLDEN TAP COMES TO THE BIG PINK"
Like beer? Like food? Like original music? Like 'em all together? Like to keep it local? This is event has it all.

Every year Veer Magazine supports the Golden Tap Local Beer Awards (https://www.facebook.com/events/339371576616728/). Attendees on Jan 31 at Victorian Station will get to sample an array of award winning beers, guided by local beer expert/Veer Beer columnist, Diane Catanzaro (Note: tasting will start at 6:30pm.)

The Bistro at Victorian Station will be creating special light-fare dinner menu items using several of the award winning beers.

Live music will be provided by the Esoteric Ramblers, self-described as "beer-focused, acoustic Americana-ish musicians who appreciate a good beer whenever playing or listening to a three (sometimes more) chord song." Jeff Maisey of Veer Magazine says "Norfolk's own Esoteric Ramblers, led by Veer beer columnist Chris Jones (and Diane's husband), have crafted a sonic homebrew of...gut-busting tunes lyrically focused on our favorite four-letter word - beer."

This event will be 3 hours of homebrewed, homecooked, homespun shenanigans - we're not sure how you could have more fun on a Thursday night!

Here's the schedule:
6pm - Doors open, Esoteric Ramblers play
6:30-7:15pm - Guided beer tasting of Golden Tap winners
7:15pm - 9pm - Enjoy dinner and more music from the Ramblers

A $5 donation will gratefully be accepted at the door to support the band. Tasting flights are $5.
