In-The-Round: Big Pink Gets Da Blues

Some of Coastal Virginia’s finest blues singer/songwriters are included in Big Pink Music's in-the-round series on Sunday, Nov. 19 at Hampton’s Victorian Station, the region’s first member-supported listening room.

Big Pink Music, a non-profit created to support local musicians in a listening room environment starts its second year with a show featuring blues singer/songwriters Bobby "Blackhat" Walters, Larry Berwald, Logan Layman, and Cole Prior Stevens, with special guest Tom Euler. The in-the-round format, used at many Nashville venues including the legendary Bluebird cafe featured on the TV show "Nashville," puts the artists in a circle on the floor with the audience circled around them. It's an incredibly intimate way for an audience to experience a performance and Victorian Station is the perfect Hampton Roads venue for it.
